Soliant Health, a leading healthcare staffing provider, is currently seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team for a full-time, onsite position at a school district in Tuskegee, AL. As an LPN, you will play a crucial role in providing compassionate healthcare support to students and collaborating with a dynamic team of professionals.

Responsibilities:

Administer routine medical care and first aid to students as needed
Monitor students' health conditions and ensure their safety during school hours
Administer medications and treatments according to physicians' orders and established protocols
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for students
Assist in the management and coordination of students' Individualized Healthcare Plans (IHPs)
Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to address students' medical needs
Provide health education and support to students and their families
Participate in meetings and training sessions to stay updated on healthcare policies and procedures

Qualifications:

Valid Alabama state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited LPN program
Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is preferred, but not required
Knowledge of basic medical procedures, medication administration, and first aid
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team
Compassionate and patient approach when working with students
